০১। পর পর তিনটি সংখ্যার গুনফল ১২০ হলে তাদের যোগফল হবে-   (৩২তম, ২৯তম বিসিএস)
     ক)৯ খ)১২ গ)১৪ ঘ)১৫
     সমাধানঃ এখানে সংখ্যা তিনটি হতে পারে যথাক্রমে ১,২,৩; ৩,৪,৫; ৫,৬,৭;.........।
           এখানে দেখা যায় সংখ্যা তিনটি ৪,৫,৬ হলেই গুণফল ১২০ হয়। এগুলোর
           যোগফল= ৪+৫+৬=১৫।
০২। ৭২ সংখাটির মোট ভাজক আছে-                           (২৬তম বিসিএস)

     সমাধানঃ ৭২ সংখ্যাটির ভাজকগুলো হল ১,২,৩,৪,৬,৮,৯,১২,১৮,২৪,৩৬,৭২= ১২ টি।
০৩। পরপর ১০ টি সংখ্যার প্রথম পাঁচটির যোগফল ৫৬০ হলে শেষ পাঁচটির যোগফল কত?(১৮তম বিসিএস)

     সমাধানঃ ধরি, প্রথম সংখ্যাটি = x
           প্রথম পাঁচটি সংখ্যার যোগফল = ৫৬০
           অতএব, x+x++x++x++x+৪ = ৫৬০
           বা,   x + ১০ = ৫৬০
           বা,   x = ৫৫০
           বা,   x = ১১০
           শেষ পাঁচটি সংখ্যার যোগফল
           = x+৫+x++x++x++x+৯
           = ৫ x+৩৫
           =(৫ × ১১০)+ ৩৫ [মান বসিয়ে]
           = ৫৫০ + ৩৫
           = ৫৮৫।

     সমাধানঃ মনে করি, সংখ্যাটি ক,
           তাহলে, ৩ক + ২ক = ৯০
           বা,   ৫ক = ৯০
           অতএব, ক = ১৮।
০৫। ১২ ও ৯৬ এর মধ্যে এ (দুটি সংখ্যাসহ)কয়টি সংখ্যা ৪ দ্বারা বিভাজ্য?        (১৮তম বিসিএস)

     সমাধানঃ ১ থেকে ৯৬ পর্যন্ত ৪ দ্বারা বিভাজ্য সংখ্যা আছে = ৯৬÷৪= ২৪ টি
           কিন্তু, এর মধ্যে ৪ ও ৮ যা, ৪ দ্বারা বিভাজ্য
           অতএব, ১২ ও ৯৬ এর মধ্যে ৪ দ্বারা বিভাজ্য সংখ্যা = (২৪-২)= ২২টি।
